Cold and windy here today so kind of glad it wasn't a run day for me. Pilates after work was good.

Is that the "Run to the Sea"? I expect to be finishing up a kayaking trip in Nfld around Aug 9th. Maybe I should stick around a few extra days

Do it! It's fun! :) (And I am super jealous of your kayaking trip. ... Have you read the book May We Rant and Roar No More, about the guy who kayaked all around Nfld? John Paul, I believe his name is. Wait... it's on the coffee table in front of me... No. Michael Paul. :) )

Ridiculous sunset out there tonight!! The North Shore was covered in dark clouds, but southwest was clear, so North Van was just glowing and sparkling. Here's a photo someone tweeted:

And that doesn't even really do it justice. It was much cooler from the seabus. And it doesn't compare to the view FROM the north shore... so awesome.

In running news: I might head out for a walk, but I've decided to rest tonight. That decision was helped by everyone else having different reasons to miss tonight's trail run. But really, I'm just feeling tired and will likely make this a four-day run week. Will do some yoga and core work to stretch out and feel stronger.

Just seeing this now. :)

No real updates today- but no news is good news. I'm trying to post daily updates on my FB page.

I ran 10k today. It was glorious.

10k easy tonight. Had a busy day, took my HR about 4k to calm down. Speed was constant. Oh well, it's done.

Guppy and I got out for 9k in the evening with the newly formed Niagara-on-the-Lake Roadrunners. It was +6.
