Belly bounces when running
Belly bounces when running
Since I have started running I have lost enough wait that my belly hangs more and bounces when I run. It's not painful but is distracting and uncomfortable. Would one of those Nike/Under armour compression shirts help, do you think?
Re: Belly bounces when running
i think that it helps me. spandex has to be one of the best inventions ever.

Re: Belly bounces when running
One guy that's come running with us a few times told me once that he used saran wrap. He said the rubbing from clothing and skin on skin would irritate his skin.
Trust me, I didn't want to hear that as much as you didn't, but it might help if that's the case.

I'd say, sure, try the compression shirt. I don't think it could hurt, and you'll probably look nice and trim in it! Try one on in the dressing room, then jump up and down a little, jog in place and see how the jiggle control factor is. That's how I test out running bras.

Lol at jiggle control factor. Also, now that you mention, I am getting some irratation under belly as well! I think I will find a better solution then Saran wrap, lol. I'll get a compression shirt tomorrow and wear a t-shirt over the compression one.

Ditto!
The compression shirt should work nicely - just make sure when you do the change room test to move around (twist, bend over, etc). You want to make sure it does not roll up.

Re: Belly bounces when running
I normally wear a water bottle belt when I'm running.
When I don't, I definitely notice some tummy jiggle.
Not sure if that will help you out or not.

For some reason I had it in my head that you were a dude, so when I read that I did a bit of a double take.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

In that case it would have been "bro" or "manziere".

Why do people think "Avis" is a boy's name? And anyway, what's wrong with a dude wearning a bra, if he needs one?

Back in my "lurking" days, I confess to enjoying the commando thread, the Dr. Weiss thread... etc
