20k bike commute to work. It will be the same home.

Gorgeous day for riding. You can tell it's spring now.

A tired and sluggish 20k for me this morning. Partly due to the fact that I think I got a little bit of a sunburn on my run home from work yesterday! Not that a sunburn is a good thing, but at least it means there's some sun  .

Thursday is Teacher strike day here.

At least a 30 min bike ride with one of my furries after work then some strength, and core work.

Loved my speed work last night as my mile intervals were much more consistent. :D

Strider - JEALOUS. I don't know exactly where that is - but it looks gorgeous!

switched things up last night since the sun was shining and it was 16 degrees out - dave and I headed out west of town and did a ride - a pretty stiff SW wind to contend with, but felt nice to be on the bike! Got in 45k with some good rollers in it in 1:40.

Today - made the call this morning that sleep was more important than boot camp and considering I've got over 90min of workouts tonight since I'll do a swim and then a run, I think it was allowed. well, I don't care if it wasn't allowed - I did it anyhow! HA!

I'm envious - I'd love to have a pup to run with (not to mention be able to run 18km lol)

Not such nice weather here. When will spring arrive??? I've been doing well keeping to a running and core/weight training schedule lately so don't feel so bad about taking today off now that it's raining. Hopefully I'll have a lovely run tomorrow when the sun's supposed to shine.

Have a good day y'all!
Jacqui

Beautiful 15k run done with my Ironfriend who made me run faster then I wanted to after running trails last night with my dad. So 15k done averaging 6:05 which is kind of fast for a LSD. I still have a swim workout to do this afternoon while the littles are in their lessons.

5 mile trail run with a puppy who was running like his tail was on fire (guess he needed the outing!). Good run, no pain, except in my calf *after* the run. :)

Beautiful day running trails with my dog. Sunshine, rocky swampy off leash fun. And my right achilles hurt with every step. Just from trying 2 K at 1/2 marathon pace last night.
I'm at that awkward age where everything hurts, but I'm still 11 months away from the seniors discount at Shoppers Drug Mart.
next up:

One fine day
This blackbird's mute gonna sing again
One fine day

So all you sinners come out
And all you drunkards crawl out
Come into the light of one fine day

I'm going to try a short recovery run tonight, around 3-5k, depending on how it feels.

Great 10 mile tempo run tonight - 1:16- with a few fast kms thrown in at the end. Perfect night.
