Have a nice one!

Feeling almost normal again... except for a sore back from sleeping too much. Time for a new mattress!

Short version of my hill run this morning. Nice out there but had to chuckle as I was griping at how HOT it was! Only 17C but 100% humidity made all the difference   After such a cold soggy windy May it is challenging adjusting to humid conditions again! Pace was still good though. First time out in a tank top and shorts for the year! :D

Not sure what today will bring. Maybe some gardening; house cleaning for sure. I could go for a bike ride or go to yoga (or both), but my left hand (pad of my palm below my index finger) is swollen and sore, likely from my ride on Saturday. :?

Just over 6.5 this morning. Nice and easy "swim" in this humidity. All the yardwork is done so its truly a day off now!

6k easy for me today, though it didn't feel overly easy. I have to remember that this week is to relax/recover and get ready for Saturday's rest.

Have a funny feeling I may be doing a TM run today... Winds are up, feels like -1C, and I have 6 mi to attempt to do race pace (edit: decided don't want to take chances this close to the event so will err on the caution side). May wait til later this evening. In the mean time I will be taking advantage of a day off and catching up on homework with a little bit of laundry and grocery shopping thrown in.

I don't think I'll run today... instead I will nap, read, and possibly clean. :)

Same here. 6km done. Occasional wind gust made it feel better. Happy Patriotes Days for all Quebecers.

Maybe a swim, maybe not. Today is my day to do whatever I want :)

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

Rest and travel day.

Just home from the cottage. I think I might have a nap. First I have to wade through laundry mountain.

All my workouts this weekend revolved around chasing 4 kids around a campsite and keeping us all dry.
We got home at 12:00, had them all cleaned by 1, and I went and had a nap.
Happy Long Weekend!!
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.
Life is fluid and ever changing. I am too.
