Ottawa Race Weekend 2012 -- May 26/27

The new webiste for the 2012 Ottawa Race Weekend is now online ... and, definitely a huge improvement and design over the old one ... http://www.runottawa.ca/

I'm thinking I might make a return to the Ottawa Race Weekend in 2012. Ottawa's a pretty nice city to take a trot around.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

I am in! 42.2k :D Looks like it will be the same route again in 2012 yahoo! :dance: I have to admit Race Weekend is my favorite day of the year I always look forward to it.

I'm still undecided. It was my first half marathon this year, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The crowds were unbelievable. I live in Ottawa, but I'm moving to S. ON next year. I can't decide if I want to do the National Capital half marathon for one last hurrah or wait a few years and come back for nostalgic reasons :? .

I'll be there. I will likely run the half as that is my NYC marathon year.

I am thinking I might start running a 100miles the day before and finish sometime around when y'all are finishing your Sunday races. (not sure on the date for Sulphur yet - and it better not be 30 degrees)

I'd love to do the half! Friends went last year and loved it. So it's a tentative plan at the moment.
Whatever doesn't kill you...will still probably hurt like a son of a b*#ch!

I'm running my first half on September 3rd and hope to train for a full on ORW. I'm a 50-minute 10K-er and my goals are correspondingly modest. I'm not sold on RR yet ... are there any individuals/small groups that meet informally for longer runs on weekends? :)
