:D I need to be good for something in this thread. ;)

Seriously- you've been quiet in this whole thing, and I know you are very close to the cutoff, but you'd kick yourself if you found out that they went deeper than expected and you missed the chance.

p.s. just in case anyone is wondering-- I didn't say anything to Andy privately-- just the little nudge in the above post. :)

and... they are likely over 20,000 by now.

Done, 2020532.

Kinda got a butterfly, but it's passed. If I want to get to Boston, will need to get on the horse and start training again, no free ride in 2012!

It will be interesting to see how many people register today vs. the rest of the week. There will likley be a bubble today, then trail off as the week goes on with one final surge before registration closes on Friday.

Good luck to all!

This may be old news but I noticed that they moved the Expo from the Hynes Center to Seaport World Trade Centre. For those who don't know, Hynes was right near the finish/Commons area and very convenient if you stayed near the finish. Seaport is near the harbour (duh!) but about 3-4 km from the finish. Not a big deal but it was kind of nice to be able to hit the expo many times over the weekend and see the shorter races like the Invitational mile, all within very close proximity. It kind of made the area feel like one big athletes village. It's not too far if you only plan on going to the expo once. We did actually walk to the harbour Monday night, but not without a few people complaining about their butts and quads! :D

ID #2022003. Registered at 6:00 PM ET.

I qualified by a little 1:38 although my race was a total failure compared to the race plan. We will see later this week if I get in.

Someone can have my spot...I was supposed to sign up on Friday but decided to pass. I can think of more fun things to do and races to run. But that's just me...

Now...that sounds like a very awesome plan.
But still praying that she doesn't need this as a backup plan!
