Thinking about all the marathon runners as I head to Vermont for a long run in a race ambiance.

I'm ready! At the Starbucks in Times Sq before heading to the subway. I actually slept well, woke up at 4:00 new time, then fell back asleep and had the funniest stress dream ever. Then I got up for good at 5:45 before my 6:00 alarm.

After my coffee I'm off to the subway and then the ferry. Then- ready to ROCK!! :)

Looks like we'll have great race day weather here.

Good luck to everyone else racing.

I have like 800 channels on my TV but no NBC4 which carries the NY city marathon live but http://www.universalsports.com/ says it is broadcasting live. It supposedly works for US only but I am getting the 'tune in at 9AM' alert. Question is at 9AM will that change to 'this broadcast is not available in your area?" Going to try it anyway!

I have a 90 min run on the schedule and the swim that I was supposed to do yesterday (decided not to risk falling asleep in the pool).

Should not have played soccer last night...even a fun soccer game at slow pace. Got jammed in the back by someone not in tune with the spirit of the game and jarred my sore ham.
Off to Orlando tomorrow morning for a conference and back on Friday. Wonder if I'll get out of the hotel at all???
Good luck to all those racing in New York and elsewhere. Will be signing up for 2012 this week.

15.13km LSD done with 15&1's in 1:33:xx, avg 6:10/km....

Really great sunny late fall weather, lovely run except for the part where I face planted at the very end. :? Skinned my knee, but the most annoying thing was I ripped a hole in my pricey winter NB tights. :x I was much more mad about tearing my tights!
