Men's race: 14:35 through 3 miles and just over 5k for Randall. Randall went to Dartmouth and is an Olympic hopeful in XC skiing. We saw Dartmouth's Ben True win the BAA 5k yesterday. the chase pack is about 15 seconds pack. It looks as if Arciniaga has been absorbed by the chase pack. Arciniaga went through 5k in 15:18 and Sergio Reyes (American) went through in 15:31.

Women's race: 36:04 through 6 miles and 37:05 through 10k, 41:48 for 7 miles. The lead pack has all the big players and the 7th mile was in 5:48. Lead truck says that Kilel has not let anyone step in front of her. Things are starting to heating up. Lead pack is around 11 runners

Men's race: Randall is crushing it. Clicked off another mile in 4:51 so he went through 4 miles in 19:25. He has about 20 to 30 second lead on the chase pack. The lead truck notes that the chase pack (15 Kenyans and Ethiopians) are hanging back and seem very relaxed. The chase pack is working together and passign water around, making sure everyone gets some. Randall is actually slowing down and ran 5:11 for the last mile (24:36). chase pack is only 15 seconds back from randall.

Women's race: 53:20 through 9. The 8th mile in 5:50 and 9th in 5:42. 9th mile was fastest mile yet. It is still tactical with about 11 in the chase pack. Kilel, Rotich, Rono, etc are all up there.

Nice to see a Canadian not only win the wheelchair division but also unofficially set a new record!

Men's race: 5:16 last mile for Randall. The lead pack has now passed him. Arciniaga is still in the lead pack. Lead pack 31:02 through 10k for men. 29:51 through 6 miles. After 10k, Arciniaga makes a bit of a move and now is leading, has about 15 meters on the field. Men on 2:10 marathon pace, so Arciniaga is on pace (he said earlier that he wanted sub 10). 35:01 through 7 miles.

Women's race: 10 miles in 59:15 with the last mile in 5:56. Things have slowed down despite running downhill. It seems that have bunched back. Mile 11: pace has slowed down, 6:03 mile split. runners who fell back are now back in the lead pack.

New course record in wheel chair marathon (1:18:25).

Men's Race: Michael Butter (Netherlands) is looking strong. Mutai seems to have some struggle on his face. Gebre hasn't touched the lead. Men cross mile 10 in 5:07. First casualty is Arciniaga. 15 in lead pack. 2:10 - 2:11 pace.

Women's Race: Kilel is starting to make a move. They just ran 5:23 for the 13th mile (fastest mile by about 20 seconds). Half marathon split is. 1:17:11

It is starting to heat up. 6 mph wind. not much humidity.

Men's Race: 51:20 through 10 miles officially. Kisoria (58:46 half marathoner) is looking very strong. He could be a big threat at the end with his kick. son Chumba is leading right now. 46:48 through 15k for the lead pack. Lead pack has chumba, kisorio, mutai, matebo, Hartmann, Barmasai, Ndambiri, Kori, Gebremariam, and Kipyego are all there.

Women's Race: 5:42 for the 14th mile for the women. Lead pack is Rono, Cherop, Kilel, Sumgong, Kasim, Dado, Sigei, Getaneh, Rotich...Leonteva (Russia) is a bit back (6 seconds behind at half marathon).

Men's Race: a bit of a breakaway with Matebo, Kisorio, Mutai, and 4 others. 5:07 for the 15th mile. Men are really starting to pick up. Mile 16 (4:42) which is downhill.

Women's Race: Kilel is a few meters pack, volunteer bumped Kilel and she is trying to come back. 1:45:14 (5:46) through 18 miles. Kilel, Rono, Cherop, Dado, and that 5th runner might by sumgong.

They just updated the news and feed saying there are issues with spectators trying to had water to runners, and disrupting stride. Now I'm wondering if it was volunteer or spectator that bumped Kilel?? Either way, she is struggling behind the lead women by 40-50 yards as they head to the base of Heartbreak.

Mile 21: Kilel and Dado have now fallen right off the women's pack - Cherog, Sumgong, and Rono are still neck and neck.

I was able to get the feed using a handy program called Tunnel Bear.

I have Mark (canalrunner) at 1:15:07 after 15.

RobinandAmelia's bib number seems off-- I get someone else for that number. :( Anyanyone know her last name?

On the Men's Elite:
Kisorio and Mutebo are all alone as they head toward Heart Break Hill, passing mile 20 in 1:39.50 - with Mutebo pulling away for the lead.
