Too tired yesterday after my 'record' setting 15km/2 hr. trail + pavement PM commute home. Today, a bit easier, probably 11 km-ish; normal lately was 10 km.

Why the fuss? Trying to decide on which distance to choose here on June 30:

21, 35 and 50 km are available - the deadline is Friday, June 15 at Midnight.

or: Online registration will close at 6pm on June 23, 2012.

21 km - I don't see as a problem; 35 is a challenge, 50 is 6 km/3.6 miles longer than a full marathon (which I've never done on any terrain). Two weeks left for training, and the last week of June is a vacation week.
Right now, I think 35 is the best choice. The map is here -

Anybody else going?

During any successful session, one might and should have a moment of truth, "should I continue or just walk home?". If you don't break down, the same thing might happen a few hundred steps later, but you already dealt with that issue. This usually happens in the second half, anyways. The satisfaction one derives later, when at home, is extremely gratifying, and is a build up like no other to further efforts.

No ryhme (or reason) for my 9k today. Been recovering quite well the day after a tempo run, lately.

5.5 K run tonight at the gym, chest and triceps earlier today. Having a cup of tea with Slayer playing through my headphones, life is good right now.

Reluctant 7km tonight, didn't really feel like running but it ended up being a pretty good easy run.
