Rest day for me too. Wanted to run 6km this morning but decided on a rest day instead due to some unwanted knee issues. :( Glad it's Friday!

I ran 5k this morning. This is what I was thinking:

1-Ugh. This sucks. Mojo is gone
2-Hmm, maybe I should have got up earlier to run longer
3-Look at that dog - his ball is in the lake, he wants to get it, but is a wimp getting in, just like me!
4-Thank goodness this run is almost over
5-I should swim in the lake before work like that lady is....

 RA, it was that kind of run was it?!

This morning T & I got up and RAN!!! I RAN!! It's very exciting because I have run a total of 3 times (including this AM) since the Perth Kilt Run

We did 4.86km including warm up & cool down. Felt awful, but a "I shouldn't have stopped for so long" kind of way... which motivates me to not stop :D

Rest day here. Works for me. It was hot and muggy already at 5:30AM, now almost 30C at 9:30AM. Heading towards 40C. House is closed up to keep the heat out and I am heading out to do some errands soon before it gets even hotter!

Have a great day everyone!

It's beautiful here, not too hot but they're saying stormy again later. We can't seem to put two good days together in a row.

11 km including 10 X 100 m strides. 5 consecutive days running, woot!

Manditory rest day, since I'm coming back from an injury. This afternoon I go for my "expert" shoe fitting at Le coureur. Fingers crossed for happy feet!

A tired and sluggish 10k - I really didn't feel like getting out of bed! The pathways were crowded this morning. It was a mix of runners, cyclists, guys with shopping carts full of bottles, and everyone dressed up like cowboys heading downtown for the stampede parade  !

No rest for me today! Last day of vacation - I dropped the little one off with her Granny and hit the canal for my long run at 7:30 before it got too hot. 16 km and change done - I was glad I brought water with me - drained both bottles. My post-run reward was gelato - I decided that 10 am wasn't too early for a treat!

The schedule says to do a short run but I'm taking a rest day because my body knows better. Not quite ready to run 6 days/week. It's supposed to be a high of 24 C which we haven't seen in awhile. Day off today so I'm heading out for golf to enjoy it!

After running myself nauseous at 6:00 yesterday morning today was a good rest day! And good for a first-thing-in-the-morning job interview! Taking it easy today; hopefully back out before it gets too hot tomorrow.

7k run to work this morning. It was already too warm. But not quite as warm as when I ran home last night.

I haven't been sleeping well. I need to fix that.
