(and that's the second time in two days that we've used this "gone too far" image... do we need to reign in some of the guys around here? ;)

I didn't see it but often these things LOOK like something else before you read the explanation. If it looks NSFW or non-family-friendly it's not really appropriate here... (I trust that Holly has good judgement on these things!).

There are plenty other places on the internet for non-family-friendly stuff.

It was just text with double meanings, so only if you knew the "naughty" meanings would you understand it...

I was so confused. Why would Ziggy make my mind go in the gutter? I tried to figure it out for longer than I should have...

I, with my innocent mind, was confused, too! Now, of course, I'm just plain curious...

I suppose, but it WAS running related - I thought everyone would get a good laugh out of it.

*shrug*, meh, whatever.

For those who were curious, it was mostly text, nothing NSFW.

if the text looks like it could have come out of 50 Shades of Grey, then it's not "family friendly". :P

it's extremely rare for us to remove things like that; if anything, we err on the side of letting things go... so I hope people trust our judgement.

I haven't read 50 Shades of Grey...but I do trust the Mods' judgement...they've done a great job of keeping this stite relatively safe and sane for 7 years!

Now, I'm pretty libertarian in outlook - I saw it and the mods made the right call; it was at best a bit of puerile double entendre, at worst simply inappropriate for this site.

WTF does this mean no more WTF (clearly meant to mean: Why the funny-face? or World Tennis Federation). Didn't see it, somewhat curious but only marginally, but pulled for a reason. Got to have moderating moderators taking moderate action.

Its funny when things have more than one meaning! I heard of this new race out east:

next up:

This broken wing will fly again
One fine day
This blackbird's mute gonna sing again
One fine day

So all you sinners come out
And all you drunkards crawl out
Come into the light of one fine day
