Morning!

All the Army runners are on course I guess!

Today was my last 32K before Scotia. Taper time begins NOW!

32K in 3:17:17 or 6:10 pace. Not bad on tired legs.

This Personal Pace Bunny came in at 28:38 with a very satisfied client who had been hoping for sub-30. Lots of brownie points at home earned this morning! Saw Andy in his bunny ears. Missed the halfers and the M&G...we were home by then after a good brunch at Local Heroes.
Looking at Sportstats..there were some good times by folks in the half this morning. Was a great day to run.

Nicely done Bunny Nick!!! :D

An easy 45 minute run around RMC this morning.
Then a walk with C-Moss down by the lake...she's now on pain meds for arthritis...and ye gads she's acting like a crazy pup these days. Her romp included rolling in a large dead fish...so had to bathe her when I got home. My car still smells like dead fish

A very pleasant 1.5 hours on country roads this afternoon. Now off to plant all the plants my wife bought on clearance this week. :(
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Leg 2 of the Island Girl Half Marathon complete. I finished my half (10.42K) in 58:27 for a 5:37/km pace. Our team finished in 2:04:47 (good for 24/68 teams).

It was a cool but sunny day on the island. Perfect running conditions (except for a few wind gusts), not great standing-around conditions. ;)

25km LSD this morning. It would not have been that cold, if it was not for the wind.

I was going to run today but then a friend called to go for brunch. Instead of running, I ate eggs benedict.  Not likely to have time to run today, but am getting out for an easy hike tomorrow instead. :)

Good work Lesley!

Our time of St-Helene island was very windy too. I'm glad to report that my hip didn't bug me at all today so I finished the half in 2:41 with lots of walking :D I am definetely tired and it was a big distance for me to do coming back from this injury but happy to have done it.

The new course is a lot of fun and the bands were amazing. I enjoyed my first RnR experience, I was a little worried after Vegas...

Well done, S!

Just realized that I made a mistake in our finishing time. It was 2:04:47 (the 1:06 time I posted was my partner's time for the first half).

Sunny but nice temps today, a little windy but not all the time - great running weather! I had arranged to run with QC and a mutual friend, and met them near the 4 km point, and then less than a km later we unexpectedly met up with another running buddy who was only a couple of km into his Sunday run, so we all ran together for about 15 km. Nice pace, overall nice easy breezy run :) QC and I ran together until almost hitting 20 km, and then I did just over 5 km to make my way home, so a total of just over 29 km. Felt good, and maybe I should have gone longer, but DH and I had/have a ton of work to do moving things back to various rooms after having them painted. As always seems to happen, we didn't get as much done as I'd hoped, but at least we're sleeping in our own bedroom tonight :)

I'm taking tomorrow and Tuesday off work to continue to deal with house stuff (and I hope some yard work, our back yard is full of black walnuts and tree branches), so not sure what I'll be doing for other exercise. Tomorrow would usually be a gym day but that probably won't happen. I can do a lot of my stretch and strength stuff at home, and if the weather is good can always fit in a short run if I really want to.
