Hi Ray! Good to see you, and I'm glad to see you're still running and that you're healthy now after the heart scare. Are you still teaching at the same school?

Hi Lisa! Yes I am still at the same school; we have a new principal this year, and then add in the union vs govt stuff, it's been a drag. I have an awesome group of kids though, and I am really enjoying teaching Grade 4.

How about you? Still at the school you moved to a few years back?

Yup, grade 1 and 2 at the same place. :)
The job action stuff has been really tough, but I have a great class this year so it's all good. Grade 4 is a lovely age- you're lucky!

Welcome back, Ray! Hard to believe that RayMan 2.0 could be thinner than RayMan 1.0. Great to hear that your son is back with you! :-)

Still BG -- just the fatter, slower version.

Welcome back, Ray (from another original member who should also make it a regular practice to post here again). Looking at some of those pics really reinforces how time flies by - it seems like yesterday!

Sounds like life is treating you well... that's great to hear. :) Best of luck with your training for Boston #3 - I have no doubts that you'll succeed!
Done: Full 2, 30k 2, 25k 1, Half 11, 13k 2, 10k 2, 8k 1, 5k 20 ...
Hmmm... this needs an update!

Hello from a returning member

Postby Bebette » Fri Jan 25, 2013 10:06 pm

Welcome back Ray!

These days, I am more of a lurker, but I am still around.

In my case, a third trip to Boston is unlikely. The wonky hip doesn't want to give me a real break. Hopefully, you will have more luck.
I run because it's fun.

In another life:
3 marathons including Boston twice (PB: 3:47), 6 halfs (PB: 1:45), 6 10k (PB: 46:41) and 3 5ks (PB: 21:00)
