OMG.

I think Ken must be mixed up the area.

Not sure people are finishing.

One report said they stopped the marathon so it sounds like there were still people n the route. Videos show runners running through the smoke and across the finish line. Now empty

Lots of people still on the route, so many won't finish.

So much blood on the sidewalk in some of the shots, many people hurt. Nuts. :(

As everyone else is, I'm shocked.

Someone on my FB list mentioned it might have been a gas explosion... but while I'd like to believe it was a horrible accident, I am suspicious because of the placement, timings between explosions, and day.

Do we have any more runners there?

Very worried about him and two people from Kingston who were around his time all through the race.

This has really shaken me.

Scotty's cousin, Bryan, is a camera man for CBS Boston and was covering the Marathon. He has checked in via Facebook saying "I was 30 yards from the initial blast, but unharmed."

I have to leave for the airport but I'm almost frozen in spot. I don't want to go out there. :-(. I don't know what the coverage is like in Canada but the news station here is terrifying.

CNN keeps showing footage from the finish line as the initial explosion happened...can anyone identify Ken in the melee from the shot?
