Adidas

A colleague sent me this today. Tried it and is seems legit. Here's a c/p of all

If you access the Adidas website as of tomorrow (Monday April 8) using the following link, it's suppose to give you 40% off when you see the items in your shopping cart. Not sure if it will work, but worth a try.

Wow it certainly does, thanks so much...I wear Adidas so just ordered a pair of shoes (the last pair in my size). Got them for $87 (from $145) with free shipping...

Thanks for sharing.

I want to believe this, but if I go to the site myself it doesn't work. It only comes if I've gone via the link. It just feels wrong. Sorry. I can't put my CC # and personal info via a link even if it looks totally legit and all but it came from a weird source.

I'm skeptical even if it means spending an extra $60

I think that's the point-- you have to use that link, but it's still part of the Adidas site.

Seems to be a Goodlife promo code of sorts- was advertised at Goodlife Gyms.

If you just go directly to Adidas you won't get the promo.

Yeah I got my order confrimation and shipping receipt already from Adidas....I also signed up for newsletters and they sent me the code for a 15% off discount although you can't use it on reduced items, so couldn't use it for the shoes too.

It's legit. I performed this experiment: went to the sale link, added an item to my cart. Saw the discount. Closed that window, opened another and went directly to adidas.ca. Still had the item in my cart, still discounted.

Has anyone got any shipping info?

It usually would have shipped by now. Since it has not I feel like I should have not done this....

Shipping is usually 24-36 hours... if it was as big a sale as it seemed (as in the promo being shared) then they probably have a large backlog to look after...
And agree with Jen... this is very typical of on-line sales turn around, especially with larger companies/big promos.

I know when we sell something on-line at the triathlon store, it may be 2-3 days before we are able to get it boxed up, to the post office...

:shifty: funny. I've bought shoes from Adidas' site 6+ times. Each time I've received shipping notices by now. Even it says items received before 2:30 will go out that day.

So much for getting these before Boston...

Good thing that Adidas shipping is telling you not to switch to new shoes so close to your A race so others won't have to.

That's funny, I saved exactly $56.50 too, for 3 items of clothing. Received my shipping notice, says by end of day today.

I'm subbing in the exact same model for a fresh grip. That's all. If I don't get the new ones I will still have my dirtier ones to wear. :shifty:
