Chilly Monday

Postby erinmcd » Mon May 13, 2013 7:02 am

So, last week I was running with shorts and no shirt, and this morning I was in pants, long sleeve shirt, and tocque. I'm glad to be back home in Canada, but I could have done without the wintery eather this morning. Easy 10K around town.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Already did the run yesterday to accommodate my ballgames now on Mondays and Wednesdays. Today is a rest day from running but may decide to go for a bike ride after work. I'm doing my 30min walk at lunch as usual.

I'm glad I pulled out the tights too! They saved me from more serious damage from a nippy dog :? 12k in the lovely sunshine.

Now off to move mom into her new place. Wish us luck.

Chilly Monday following chilly Sunday! It was about 3 or 4 C yesterday morning when I started my long run, and I actually love that temperature, but the WIND! Toughed out 26.5 km and arrived home just as the first rain/hail mix started to fall. It didn't last but that shot of cold water would not have been pleasant so I was pretty pleased with the timing. :) No cardio today, just core work and upper body weights. Busy day so that's all I've got.

Yes, it was cold and windy. I had to get the toque and gloves for my morning 6:30 run. Cold yesterday too.
