Still nice here in the Adirondacks! Got out for a nice trail run before father's day breakfast. Legs are a bit sore after yesterday's race, but not too bad.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Been away from the forum as my running not consistent but do need to get focussed so RM helps with that! So back I am. I have been abit of a slug the past couple of days, cycling and riding have stressed my lower back somewhat. That being said back at running today. Pouring rain so treadmill it will be 8 k is the plan but first more coffee.......

Great race in the pouring rain today in Barrie. Finished in 1:44:56 which was good enough for a 3rd page age group finish and a 14th place finish for females and 83/495 overall. This is about a 3 minute PB for me as well. Very happy with this result. Ran a 4:56/km pace for 16K then dropped to 4:57/KM at 17K then stopped checking the watch after that.

Nicely done, mas_runner! ETA: And robinandamelia, too!

10km for me at the peak of the pouring rain, since I only had one window to squeeze it in between Father's Day breakfast for DH and a kiddie birthday party this afternoon. It was alright - within about 2 minutes I was so wet I kind of forgot I was wet.

Yin Yoga this morning and then came home to make brunch. Not a nice day for a run with all that wetness coming down.

Did the Leamington Du Relay with my Dad today! what a great tradition. He'll be 77 this year, and he said he wants to do it for 3 more years, at least!

Happy Father's day to all the maniac dads!

P.s. ROW should be posting an awesome race report, so look for that!

I had a great time on the trails this morning with Strider, ngcaper and MikeM. Strider wasn't kidding when he said there were lots and lots of rocks on that route, LOL. I think we covered about 13K and wouldn't you know it, but I didn't even break any bones or spill any blood that didn't end up in a mosquito

Thanks for the run guys, it was good fun!

congrats mas_runner and robinandamelia and forestgump - way to represent out there!

C and I got out for 5 km with the stroller - it was bright and sunny when we headed out and then the clouds started to roll in. We snagged the last night half hour of the day!

I raced a personal best 10 km, with a 45:32 chip time. I planned to run about a minute slower, but since my Garmin seems to be kaput today, I was running on feel instead of technology.
