Rest day.
There's rain in the forecast for this afternoon, maybe I'll go out and dance around in it...

Good workout this morning- met up with the guy I often run with on weekends for an early morning run- warm up, 9.5K at marathon pace, then cool down, for a total of 14km.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Almost Friday before a long weekend! Hurray! Made it to Runpub last night (yahoo!) and had a nice 10 km run with La. Even in the somwhat hot and sticky conditions it was nice. So that gave me a total of 21 km for the day and I was very happy with that. This morning was 45 minutes on the elliptical. Usually I would also do some upper body weights and core work but wasn't really in the mood; will try to summon the energy once I get home tonight.

Not as sticky as yesterday, but that's not going to stop me from complaining.

Basketball tonight. On Saturday we had to keep switching out balls every 10 minutes because they'd get too slick from sweat and nothing was evaporating. Luckily, germs don't spread during sports. Scientifically speaking.

Heating up over here in Edmonton!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

8 km easy run. The humidity seems to have gone down a bit this morning, and I ran slow and enjoyed it.

3.5 km walk around the hood with both my gals. Feeling good after having my gall bladder out yesterday. Doc says walking is fine, no running for 3-4 weeks. I'll take it.

Nice and sweaty 14k today. I had planned on an easy run following Sunday's race but the legs felt fine so I did 10k at MP.
