Morning!

Rest day! And boy do my legs need it! Last night was a hill workout with the HM clinic. It was a hot one, but at least we beat the rain and thunder storms!

Stroller tempo this morning - 7.25 km with 5 at "tempo" - usually about 20 second or so slower than I would be without, but still a good hard workout. The huge storm last night didn't scare away the humidity here!

Good morning! First time posting and first time running in a week! It is strange to take so much time off but the family reunion was worth it. Didn't get much exercise but did have lots of fun and loved seeing so many people. Yesterday morning I was too jet lagged to drag myself to the gym, but got up this morning and ran 10 km. It felt good once I was warmed up.

Super busy at work (no vacation goes unpunished) so that's it for me. Have a great day, everyone. :)

Different day for me. I usually do a 1 1/2 - 2 hour run on Thursday mornings.

However - I had a scheduled Patient Orientation session at the K-W Cancer Centre. Quite the place! Lots of support and a large team assigned to each patient.

I plan to get some type of run in this afternoon.

Great day of running yesterday followed by a weights class. Did so many pushups, it hurts to move my arms :) Tonight core work followed by 75 mins of spin. Have a great day!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

Open water swim at Cherry Beach - only about 1/2 hour, but the first one in, ahem, way too long.

It was indeed a thrilling Thursday for me, because I did my usual lunchtime run without my right knee hurting! It was cool and sunny, and you could smell a hint (just a hint) of fall in the air. Boo fall!

Done with the tri, time to return to marathon training.

Interval training tonight - 7km with 13 x 400m at the track. I pulled up a bit lame on my last fast interval, my legs are still a bit tired from the weekend.
