Sprint Sunday

Off to the St. Albert sprint triathlon very soon. Nervous and excited!
Jocelyn

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

Just back from a lovely 12k with the clinic. Everyone had a great run. It was a nice recovery pace for me

Now we are off to face the crowds at The Taste of the Danforth!

Up early this morning to do my run (3 times 5 & 2) and my weights before the Manchester Utd/Wigan game on TV. Looking for a bike ride later on...but not 100K like some people plan to do today.

Hope you have a good race, Jocelyn! Good luck to everyone else racing and long-running today.

I did 11K with 5 x 1K earlier this morning. It feels so good to be training again with hard workouts. :)

20 km and change this morning along the canal. After a week of solo parenting, two hours of alone time was welcome!

Tougher course than my last one, who knew there were so many hills around here, but so much prettier and well organized! Very happy with my time. 1:28:47 for an 8/23 in my age group. Also won $100 gift card for iTunes! There were elite triathletes at this event and they were amazing to watch! Next up a nap and a glass of vino :)

ENDURrun half marathon! I ran a personal best 1:41:47, which is insane considering that I ran 30 km of trails yesterday, and was planning for something closer to 1:50. The weather was perfect, and my body was up to the challenge.
