Intervals run this morning (10K with 2 x 1000m at target race pace) to sharpen up for Saturday's race- the Warkworth 8 Miler Road & Trail race.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Good Morning!

After a day entirely on my feet working race kit stuffing for STWM, and 6K race pace with the clinic last night - I slept in this morning.

I think it's just as well, as my body was sore - Very physical day yesterday. I'm shut down until Sunday I think.

Have fun! What a great event. :)

Just a bike ride to work for me today (have to take it into the shop on the way home). I had a great 7.5K run last night - lots of pep in my step and feeling good! :)

Just a little TM run for me this morning. Temps were mild so it would have been nice to get outside, but I was home solo with a still-sleeping girl. Thankful rugby season is almost done!

Non-running day today, just 25 minutes on the elliptical and a few upper body weights. Short workout because I started a little late and wanted to be at work a little early. I'll do some core work at home tonight. Made it to Runpub last night and had a nice 9 km run in perfect conditions, so total of 16 km for the day. Now a busy day at work to get through. Have a good one!

I'm supposed to run tonight but I'm getting together with friends for a pub night. I may bring running stuff to squeeze in a quick run after work.

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

So true! It takes me such willpower to get out the door for that first early morning run when the temperature has dropped to 1 or 2 C. And it turns out okay, but to start out it feels SO cold. Then we get that kind of temp in February and it feels like summer! "Wow! 1 C - it's so warm outside!!! Let's run forever!!!"

Finally got out running for the first time in something close to two weeks – so busy, plus I caught a stomach bug. Obviously I'm not racing this weekend! But I will hit the expo to do a little shopping… :) Good luck to all who are running!
