Merry Christmas all.
I feel the need to get out for a short run today, I should have gone early as I am sure the feeling will pass later today. Maybe I'll manage a walk.

Re: Christmas Day!
My wife is working so today is Christmas Eve for our 4 year old
I did a wacko 5K on the TM. Some slow, some fast, some intermediate, extended periods, bursts, low incline, high incline, basically just complete randomness.
Have a great day everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone!
We usually do a family Christmas morning run, but with minus 30 temps, taking C out in the stroller didn't seem wise. Instead, I did 2 miles solo while breakfast cooked - I was glad to carry on the tradition, but it just wasn't the same without the family.

Re: Christmas Day!
I haven't run much in the last few weeks, but felt the urge to get out today despite cold temps, lingering ice and the fact that I couldn't find my 'good' hat (aka, the only one that fits well enough to cover my ears). Less than 2km, but it felt good to get out and do something.
PR's so far: 5K 27:15, 10K 55:25, 21.1K 2:10:53, 42.2K 5:21:27
Upcoming: Toronto Women's 5k in May, STWM Half in October

6K today, comprised of 3 times 2K with the last set a bit faster. Done on the TM.
Merry Christmas everyone. I did well with presents today and now into the Merlot...purely for re-hydration after my run.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Like marymac, I too had the desire to head out for a short run this morning. However that has seemed to dwindle as the day progress. I'll blame it on the bacon!
I'll make up for it tomorrow when I head over to my MIL in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast for a couple of days.

Re: Christmas Day!
Ate breakfast, went to brother's, ate 2nd breakfast, AKA brunch, came home and changed and got out for a run before I changed my mind. It's hard to run on a full stomach. Going back to brother's for Christmas dinner at about 6:00.

Re: Christmas Day!
10k hill repeats hard effort, with a hang over...that'll teach me to drink too much. Felt better afterwards, but feeling pretty tired now. 1/2 way through the 10 day X 10km easy/hard routine. Looking forward to a rest day, and some longer runs.
