Productive Saturday

Postby La » Sat May 03, 2014 11:19 am

Up at 7AM to get to my WW meeting, then raced over to the gym for an 8:30AM spin class (holy carp that was tough!), then to Loblaws for groceries.

17.5 for me, longest run since last summer and a new record for Willis the wonder doodle who would have happily gone farther.

total of 12.5 miles today, a bit piecemeal. My legs felt completely dead today... mix of factors I think. Parts of the second half were largely walking. Now to rest up and hydrate so I can try again tomorrow...

35k done in the snow. This run had a little bit of everything from winter and spring - snow, wind, puddles, goose poop, angry geese to dodge, and some obstacles (downed tree across the pathway in Pearce Estate park).

I envy all the nice long runs. Mine was 12 km, nice enough but I sure look forward to building up to 20 over the summer if I can.
