Tired Tuesday

Postby erinmcd » Tue Aug 26, 2014 7:55 am

Good morning all!

Not sure why, but I was feeling really dozy this morning. Had a hard time getting moving.

Headed up to the trails at my local conservation area for short, hard hill repeats.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Speedwork Tuesday: 5x4min on trails at about HMP with 2min jog recoveries + WU/CD for 12K. I didn't exactly need speed this soon after my race but a couple of our XC runners weren't experienced enough to execute this workout on their own.

Second-last trip to the pool for the summer. Summer? What summer? Finally it feels like summer and it's over! Muggy 25˚ by the water. I felt heavy and slow but I sure did feel good after.

10.4 k in 1:03, not quite as quick as it sounds since run was mostly downhill.
