Sunny??? Sunday

Postby IronGoddess » Sun Aug 31, 2014 8:00 am

I am not sure if it is sunny out because it is still dark out my window. Just getting some coffee in before starting my lsd in. 2:40 is what the coach ordered so off I go.

8km done just before the rain came down.
Will take C-Moss down to the lake for a swim later if it's not raining.

20k - 5k on my own with my backpack and 15k with RobW. While the temperatures are more mild, I found it very humid to start- and then we got drenched by rain showers in the last 6-7k. It was so nice to finish and change to dry clothes!

33 km for me this morning. I did the first 6 km at marathon pace then went back home and picked up my 2 year old so I could do the next 21 km with her in the Chariot at an easy pace. Finally, I did the last 6 km on my own at marathon pace.

Steady 8km this morning. Very humid out. Figures, as soon as I register for a race I start having issues with something... this time I seem to get a pain in my right knee every so often, mostly on any sort of downhill... hoping this is just a "glitch" in training.
