Daily thread seems to be dying these days-- but I'll do my part. :)

Grouse Grind today in 55:33. Second best the season, couldn't match my best from two weeks ago.

Another speed workout with the XC team (a.k.a., ideal marathon recovery): 10 sets of 45 second strides + 60 second jog recoveries, all on trails + WU/CD for 8K.

1.8K over to the track and then 6 by 800m with a 200m walk recovery, 1.8K back. Well.....that was the plan but Mr. Garmin tells me I did an extra 400m on my last interval!! No wonder that one felt tough. No rain during the run but it was humid.

About 6k this evening up at the high school on the gravel path. It's starting to get dark early these days--the sun set today at 7:07 pm. But it was a nice run, just the same.
