Great morning out there for a bit of a peppy fun.

5K @ 5:10-5:20 pace - 10 K in total

I feel like I haven't done that in a while!

A really nice 7K for me after a stressful day at work. It was a great release!

Fall may be here, but I am running these mornings in the 70's F in Lost Wages. Up and out by 6:30 AM to beat the heat. Went for a hike in Red Rock Canyon with Mrs. Tortoise also this morning in temperature in the nineties! We noticed a couple of " Tortoise Crossing" signs!! :)

I did a tempo! 20 min easy then 2 x 15 min at 6.8 mph on the treadmill (easy 5 min recovery in between, 5 min cooldown). Hey, it's something. :)
