Here's Thursday ..

Postby HCcD » Thu Oct 02, 2014 9:36 am

Today, is my Friday ...

Probably, some sort of workout later this afternoon, unless I get one early tomorrow morning before heading PEC for the weekend, with a noon time stopover with Jo-Jo and C-Moss ... :)

Nice, easy paced 8km around the 'hood this morning. Enjoying the shorts and t-shirt weather while it's still here...

4.5K today. Saw my finish line video from the Army Run (thank you, ZoomPhoto) and was horrified at my running gait. I had gone the last 6 months with soft, cushy shoes (Saucony Triumph) because of the arthritis in my hip and I've apparently gotten lazy and am just banging my feet down into all that pillowy softness. So, today, I dug out the old Brooks Pure Cadence shoes and focussed on running light and easy with a quick turnover again. Seemed to work and there were no problems with my hip. Time for a new pair of shoes, even if I only wear them for shorter, faster runs.
