Finally Friday

Postby n_fraser » Fri Oct 17, 2014 9:13 am

No running for me today! Still getting into the swing of things post-car accident with work and physio and most days I'm totally exhausted. Rejoined the Y and rented a locker to make really early morning workouts (and treadmill runs) a bit easier.

It's a good thing I've got a couple of running buddies will be meeting me.

I can do this, I can do this, I can do this..................

Still finishing up my recovery week after the race. I did an easy spin on Wednesday, and bike-commuted to work yesterday. Today I plan to try out my trainer. :)

30 minutes on the rowing machine. Cancelled our Summer Friday night scrimmages for the season as indoor soccer starts tomorrow night. So...a free evening tonight!

Finally got it set up and it was great-
45 min ride and much better than what I usually do on the spin bike.

So CME Challenge Run this mornig, 6km in teams of 5 with a sort of "Hunger Games" start! Run to pick an item to carry for half the race then exchange it for the 1 item at the half way point. We were lucky as we got a shovel to carry for the first half. My team arrived first so we had to trade our nice and light shovel for a water filled 5gallon jerrycan. So, we ended up finishing second!
