Postby chunkymonkeymelonhed » Sun Oct 26, 2014 8:03 am

It's RACE DAY
Good luck to all those running the Rock n Roll 10k or half this morning.

I'm super excited to be running my first half in a very long time. I will be pacing my friend Lisa to a (fingers crossed) 2:15-2:20:xx finish.

Oatmeal, banana, and coffee are ready for consumption :D

Have a great day Maniacs.

Godspeed, racers!

I'm just home from a lovely 11.25K run along the waterfront. I love my 'hood! :)

I had a great day cheering at the RnR half! Rob and I met early and went down to see the leaders, and then Colleen, half-Mary, and Cheryl. Everyone had a great day! Later we met up Bryan and some of Colleen's friends for lunch at Elephant and Castle.

I haven't done anything today but cheer and drink beer! :) So a rest day for me.

Oh my goodness that was so much fun!!!
21.1K done under mostly sunny skies.

Thanks to Jen and Rob for cheering on course and for taking my vest off my hands! And to Bryan for making his way downtown to join us for lunch.
So great to see IronColl , HalfMary, and Marymac. Well done everyone!!
