My gang was feeling too cheap to do the Running Room resolution run so we did our own 5(ish) k this morning. We then proceeded to break every resolution except the exercise one at a pot luck breakfast - between the Mimosas and croissants my diet resolution will have to wait until tomorrow (or Monday).

2019 plans - Sun Run Clinic (as usual), make it past tax season with sanity intact, start training, Chicago Marathon !!!

as lovely as it is out there today, no run for me. I contemplated it given that it's Jan 1 and so beautiful outside, but I'm stupid tired and my legs are sore from Tuesday so I will save myself for tomorrow (planning to go snowshoeing... hopefully there is enough snow!).

All the stretching and tennis-balling does seem to be helping my sore/tight muscles and hip... going to keep working on that!

I did a polar bear swim at the lake and this year we had to clear ice.

I'd be the one watching from the sidelines with baileys and hot chocolate in hand. ;)

My wife and I walked the 2 km home at 1 am after the new year's party, and then the same 2 km back to pick up the car around noon. I reckon that counts :).

It's a new year, and I don't post here much, but I still poke around from time to time, so I thought I'd say hello and happy 2015 to you all! I'm just back from celebrating by spending 2 nights in the back country. Total of around 10 hours of hiking and snowshoeing. Perfect way to kick off the year. :)
