Re: TGIFriday
Chilly morning (-31 WC -36) for a nice 14K. Jupiter was bright enough to see even without my glasses.
Re: TGIFriday
Beautiful morning here. It was -8 and snowing, with about 10cm of new snow on the ground, so the dog and I headed for our favourite trails.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Re: TGIFriday
Always TGIF!!! The first four days of this week were super high stress at work, but today looks to be much calmer, thank goodness. I had planned to run this morning but my foot felt a little "off", and I was seeing my treatment provider for a 9:00 a.m. appointment, so I decided to spend some time on the elliptical instead. Maybe a little over cautious but I'd rather be paranoid than re-injured. Anyway, the ART etc. hurt, but in a good way (as we all know). Best of all, my tendon appears to be healed, feels very smooth with almost no scar tissue in the area, and I am supposed to keep increasing my mileage. Cautiously, and always with a warmup before and icing after, but definitely keep moving forward. So, next run I'm going to do 12 km instead of 10 km.
Have a great weekend, everyone - happy running!

Re: TGIFriday
long run day - there was some snow overnight, so parts of the run were very slow, but they had cleared one 2-3km section of the canal, so i repeated that a couple times to enjoy the half decent footing. 19km done - longest since army run!
