Easy 10K on the TM for me this morning. It wasn't that cold outside, but I didn't want to leave the house, LOL.

Seventh straight day of running in less than ideal conditions. today was certainly a bit warmer and the wind wasn't as bad as advertised. However, the traction was still iffy. 2 hour run/walk with friends at the Waterloo RR.

28K outside, -18 WC -24. That should have seemed mild compared to recent runs but I made things more uncomfortable than needed by underdressing by half a layer.

Swim meet in Guelph. Really slow after training camp but split well in my 400m free with no race suit. So not bad. 5000m. 30 minutes on the trainer, 10 minute warm up at 160 watts, 5 minutes at 190 watts, 5 minutes at 240 watts, 1 minute easy, 4 minutes at 300 watts.

I only had 1.5 hours before dark so I parked at the bottom of Old Buck and went straight up for 4k, straight back down for 4k, total of 8km with good elevation.

That makes 2x5 miles for the week, which is not at all what I wanted this week but it will have to do. :/
