Tuesday Blues!

Postby barebuns1 » Mon Apr 06, 2015 9:31 pm

I realized I am heading back to Medicine Hat next Wednesday. I am hoping winter is over. My two months here are almost over. We ran 5kms on the roads at 5.00am. It was still 20C, but I found it still cooler. I have been trying to run in the afternoon too. But the temps are usually in the mid thirties.

Plan today is to swim and then bike to UBC for a field trip for one of my classes. I have never biked this route but I have run it a few times. My husband and daughter bike to UBC regularly, but they go to the other side of campus which is a few kilometres farther. Where I am going won't be much longer of a commute than I am used to going to BCIT, but the opposite direction.

tempo workout today with the stroller. 3 km warm-up, 5 km at tempo (5:02/5:03/4:51/4:56/4:50), then 5 km cool-down. A bit of a head wind in one direction, but pretty lovely out there!

I'm having a perfectly lovely rest day today! Short walk at lunch though....it still felt a bit cool, but would be great for running!

Scrummy, your paces amaze me! With a stroller, no less!!

You are on fire with that stroller. No wonder you fly without it!

3 KM on the treadmill before going off to see my RMT.
Something wonky going on with my knees...strange. RMT thinks this may actually have to do with my hips. He'll be sending me exercises. I love my RMT! :D
