Slimy Saturday . . .

9K for me this humid morning. It's really foggy here right now, 20 and 28 with humidex. Looks like it's going to be a scorcher later today with humidex values up near 40. Glad I got up early, LOL :D

Although we may be going to the pool this evening, I decided to do my running in the morning before it got any hotter. It's 22˚C and humid already, and it's supposed to close on 30 (with a chance of a storm). So I ran east for a switch, out past Cherry Beach, 11.58 km in total. Very glad for the water fountain at Sherbourne Common!

Nice cool day for a 29k run out to Richmond and along the dike. We had company for the first eight k then it was just four of us for the last part. Cool temps and a nice breeze but still a sweat fest with external and internally generated humidity.

roughly 12 miles. I dressed for rain because it was raining when I woke up this morning but then it stopped and I was too hot. Either way, grateful for any rain we can get. :)

Saturday's run was a tough slog. I got out for my run by 8am. It was 25, with the humidity making it feel like it was 34. It was like running in a sauna. My total was 8.21km in 1:00:05.
