Wait is over. BAA website says 2:28 or better.
That's me out for 2016 but watch out 2017 - I WILL be there.

Yes you will! Do you age up for 2017?

Sorry it didn't work out this time.

Gah! Fair but agonizing process.

I get five MORE minutes to play with for next year!! So happy about getting older!

Process is absolutely fair- I have no issue with it. The BAA does a great job.

I'm off to look for a FAST course for next Spring :D

Ended up with 15K this morning- it's so beautiful out there I decided to add on some distance.

Last quality workout before PEC Sunday. I was able to get in a 60 minute race pace run between half hour walks.

Hey, congrats to everyone who's even in a position to THINK about getting into Boston! I'm quite a ways away from that these days. It would take me a year or two to be back in marathon shape.

But I had a nice run. 7.4 comfortable km just as the sun was going down.

Oh yes, I am thinking 2018 as well, since I move into a new age group in July 2017. If my calculations are correct, that means I can start trying to qualify in my new AG in October of next year. Right?

Or slightly sooner… Sept. 19, 2015 was the start of the window for the 2017 race.
