happy new years!

rest day for me. it's been a busy running week.

funny how hard it is to take a day off on jan 1...i think its a popular one to start getting miles in. So enjoy with whatever you do!

Having my tea and then I'm off to a morning service at my synagogue. I will run later in the day- it's going to be sunny so mauve outside as long as it's not too icy.

Happy 2016!!

Coffee time and then I'm meeting up with Lisa and Daniela to celebrate the start of a new year with a run. It won't be too long but it will be beautiful out there. I'm excited for this one.
ETA- 7K done :D
Happy 2016 RM!

I agree! I neeeeed a rest day today and am taking one, unlike the past couple of days where I said that and ran anyway. But it's so hard to spend Jan 1 indoors! Especially when it's sunny out!

No run today. I did do all of my physio exercises, walk 1K barefoot on the TM and then do 20 mins on the rowing machine. I'll take that and run tomorrow...

Me, too!

I did my (mostly) annual Hair of the Dog 9K race at the Balmy Beach Canoe Club. I finished in just under 52 minutes (5:47/km), which is far from a PB, but considering how little sleep I had last night, I wasn't really pushing the pace.

I opted NOT to do the Polar Bear Dip in the lake after. I've done it 3 times or so in the past, so I don't feel the need to do it again.

Just under 2 hours outside in the snow this morning getting in a good walk/run/walk. Then my usual 2 hour gym workout at LA Fitness this afternoon.

Just a couple of short walks with the pups. Went and watched the polar bear swim craziness at Centennial Beach in Tswassen.
