Tropical Thursday

Postby RA. » Thu Feb 25, 2016 7:26 am

It was 15 degrees this morning when we left the house at 6.

Dh asked if I wanted a ride to work, or to the gym, since it was super rainy and windy. That means not waiting for the bus - I'm in! 25 minutes elliptical and 20 minutes on the treadmill.

Drizzly rain, so I opted for the fitness room today!

8K with 10X2min hills, finishing off the last 2K just under 5:40/K. It felt pretty good.

Then I did some stretching and strength. 5 minutes on the rowing machine + the usual circuit of lunges/planks/squats etc.

A bit tropical feeling here. 10C by the end of my run. 30k done under blue, blue sunny skies.

It was still nice this evening when I met the gals for a 6k run. Too bad the dry weather isn't supposed to last for the weekend

Had runpub, though it was more hiking than running. Saw some stars and city lights from quarry rock (first time I've been there in the dark, surprisingly).
