Snowy Saturday

Postby La » Sat Mar 05, 2016 10:28 am

I wasn't snowing when I left home to drop off the car at the mechanic, but then the snow started as I was beginning my run home (about 8K, in 49 minutes).

Sun and blue sky here  Wishing I was able to move tomorrow's LSD to today but I just don't have the time.
Hoping to be able to squeeze in today's scheduled 8K at some point.

5.1k here as a shakeout to my race tmr. Shakeout told me I have a chest cold and racing would be bad. Going to unfortunately skip the race.

4:04 avg pace on the shake out. Felt like 110% effort (should have been 85%)

30k run on a beautiful day. I've been doing all my long runs on hilly terrain unlike in previous cycles. 3 more 30-32k runs left and then I'll probably start getting excited about Boston.

9K snow packed trail run - what a beautiful day.
The only thing that would have made it better would have been Beaver Tails with La afterwards.

A little over 8K for me outside this afternoon. It was almost shorts weather. This coming week, it could be :)
