Bike Commute Thursday

Postby La » Thu Mar 10, 2016 11:26 am

Another super-warm day here today (12C). I rode to work, got a little mucky as it rained overnight. Will ride to my WW meeting, then home this evening. That's it for me today.

Nearly time to leave PV and head back to Canada. Really cold the last two days, snow in some parts of Jalisco where they've never seen it before. Before that it was unseasonably warm though. Perfect time to leave!

2 mile tempo run today.

No bike for me, just the usual 6 miles along the canal.

I knew it was brutally windy while I was doing my 32k run. Came home to check the wind and saw we had a wind warning issued. It was tough, but happy it's done.

Ride home was cooler and a bit windier, but much less mucky.

Thankfully the weather cleared this evening for the gross rain and heavy winds we had overnight. The workout was hill repeats which I found really tough, everything was complaining - calves, quads and glutes. Hopefully my legs will feel better on Saturday.

3 TM Miles for me! Looking likes some great weather for lung run on Saturday...think I'll hold off till around 9:00 to go out and take advantage of the nicer temps forecast for that time :)
