Winter Wednesday

Snow, snow and more snow.
1000m in the pool, then 10k on the treadmill.

10K in the fog this morning, but it is now VERY cold out! Strength session on tap.

Three in a row for 10K. I suspect that the temperature that I found cool yet comfy is lower than at the COTU.

Thursday morning for me, but I suspect that the temperature I found to be cool yet comfy at 5am in Sydney was somewhat higher than in the COTU or Winnipeg. It's all relative, isn't it?

Bailed on the group run tonight due to roads, weather and idiot drivers. Strapped on my new Garmin 230 and walked 6.25K on the TM in the warm and dry basement. Need to calibrate it outside since it overestimated my stride length by 10%.

4k for me today. I never thought 4k would feel like a major effort again.
No one cares what I would do; therefore, I can do anything!!

I ran 42.2k; Let's see the other donald try to trump that

Better to post late than never for Wednesday! I had a short, difficult run on slush-over-ice roads yesterday. I did this after I shovelled the drive, then worked to chop out the 3 cm of ice that remained underneath the snow. So, it was a sort of a mixed cross-training workout.
