Spring-like Saturday

Postby Nicholas » Sat Jan 28, 2017 12:25 pm

Great day for a run today. Managed 10K with the group at a nice easy pace. Biggest week since the helicopter accident last July. Soccer tonight.

Awesome -- but now I'm going to have to search the archives for the helicopter story.

Snowy Saturday in Toronto this morning -- 20 minutes easy with 5 min warmup/cooldown -- but it was my 5th run this week! (Monday and Friday are rest days)

Hope everyone's having a good one. :-)

Spring-like Saturday for sure.
We ran along the river on the bush trail. One side clear, the other snow packed and icy.

Not quite spring like but definitely a nice day. 14.5k done, first run that has felt comfortable since the running routine hit a big patch of ice for all of December. Got to multi-task - run, coffee, check the outlet mall, skytrain, more coffee, another skytrain and home again.

16K in shorts. Funny how "spring-like" weather in one place is cooler than "not quite spring" in another place.

What can I say, we're wimps out here. One of the guys was wearing shorts but the rest of us whined about the "cold".
