Monday Monday

Postby tayken » Mon Feb 27, 2017 10:52 am

Went into work today, and completely forgot that I'm off today and tomorrow. So, I went for a 10km early run as opposed to my usual lunch time run

14K in the cold (-17 WC -23).

At one point, I was running northwest as the Sun was coming up and I saw another long shadow bouncing beside mine. One of my running buddies has been known to sneak up on me during morning runs, but when I turned around, it was a deer trotting a few seconds behind me (before heading into some bushes).

I know right...who does that? Me apparently, but in my defense, I was away all last week with work and wasn't informed that my leave request had been approved :D I also know now that am off on Friday 3rd March

Side note: I quite enjoyed reading your blog, and I have to say you are an inspiration!

Finally got out for a nice 4.5K just before supper. Plus 7, so shorts are still in order! And then home-cooked roast beef with a nice Shiraz....
