Beat the Heat Sunday . . .

Out the door at 6AM for me and 8K on the trails. Already 28 with humidex, glad I got finished early, LOL!

Lovely morning for a run here. 6.5K with the girls.
On the books for 2017:
50th Birthday!!
Boston Marathon- April 17th what a day- DREAM COME TRUE :dance:
Run for Water 10K- May 28th
Scotia Half - June 25th
Trail River Run half marathon- Sept. 30- CANCELLED
MEC 10K Race 10- Nov. 5

Nice 9k run here. Had a bit of sunshine for a while but it didn't really qualify as heat. It was a lovely morning but the clouds are moving in so it doesn't look like the afternoon will be so great.

Beautiful & sunny day here, too! Spent the morning cheering on my strong & speedy daughter @ a duathlon, and ran the trails with some friends in the afternoon. Days spent outdoors are the best :).
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

8km race at the Betty's run for ALS in Calgary. After that I ran another km back to my car as a cool down.
