Running Mania

Heat warning, smoke, and air quality warning today. Went out for about 7.5k and could *feel* the smoke today.

3 miles down. Beautiful day here

13K for me in gorgeous conditions. A bit windy but only +15. Loved it!

Did a 9k craft brew pub run with the gang - ended up at Red Truck beer - good beer and garlic fries, for some reason folks were moving away from us on the skytrain home

Up the BCMC with a bunch of girls from my run club... it was one of the girls' birthday, and that's what she wanted to do (!) so that's what we did! I was the only one who was stupid enough to want to go back down on foot, so while the rest stayed at the top for drinks, I went down on foot. That was dumb, and I regretted it because it got dark faster than I expected (I did have a headlamp but was hoping to have more light than was the case...). Coming down the BCMC in the dark alone is not my idea of a good time... if I ever suggest that again, please remind me that I hated almost ever minute of it. The only fun part was watching the mice run around in the beam of my headlamp.

Anyway, that's done and my quads are shot now...
