Torn by which pic to go with

Postby LILSPARK » Sat Sep 03, 2005 4:31 pm

I recently finished my first half and decided to go ahead and purchase the commemorative plaque from brightroom.com. I can't seem to decide which pic to go with, I keep getting to the check-out and going is this the one I want. Please help me decide and if you have a reason why I should go with one over the other let me hear it.
The options are:
Finish line:

half way:

Thought this would be a fun poll 8)

They're both great. However I am 100% in favour of the halfway one- it's better centred, and you look like you're strong and having a blast.

I like the mid point one better because I can see you more clearly. I think it (and you) looks like something that should be in a running magazine!

I agree. I like the mid-point one better. You look so good. I can't believe you look that good half way through a half marathon! :)

I also like the picture at the half-way mark. It is a much better view.

definitely the half-way one. It's closer up and you look great.

You still look great on the finish one but it's harder to see you.

I can see why it's a tough call. You look great in both. The others are right that the midway one is a better photo, but the finish line one has the crowd and the buildings in the background and gives a sense of grandeur, with you in the centre of it all. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these.

Nice pictures--both of them!! :) I'd be torn too!! I think I'd pick the finish-line one though....only because it gives a sense of "place"....you can see the crowd, the buildings etc. Then again, I'm not from the east so that part of it would be special to me. Also, I tend to lean towards pictures where you can see people together. If it was me, and I had a picture of just me by myself, I would look at it and feel lonely. But that's just me.

The mid-way picture is very nice too though, and I agree it's a more clear shot of you. I guess it depends what you'd like the picture for or what you would like it to remind you of. I've never had a race picture so I'm not sure what most people look for when they choose them.

I really like the halfway one, although I would be torn too. You look great for being in the middle of a half marathon!

You look nice and refreshed at halfway...so I voted for that one. Both pics are nice though.

I guess I know which one I will go with now :) I kept choosing the finish line one but then would get to checkout and hesitate. I will get the Half way one on the plaque and some wallets of the finish line. 8)

It looks like you have already decided, but I would go with the midway shot too - you are a poster girl for positive running in that one!
