New Forum Layout
New Forum Layout
This is the planned new layout of the Forum. There is the new forum for speed freaks, a new one for Masters and Training has been split from Injuries & Recovery. The tough part is splitting off the old Recovery threads into the new Injuries forum...so they may either be left there or moved gradually. The new structure will hopefully facilitate any future modifications.
Note that the Four Rules will still apply to the Speed Zone with only minor modification. You can be frank & direct but there is still no place for obscenities, spamming, flaming or dis-respect.
Running Communities
General Running Discussion
A comfortable place for anyone and everyone to talk about running
The Speed Zone

This new setup sounds interesting. I can't wait to see this develop. Love the new "masters" section. Thanks for all your hard work mods!

AWESOME!!
The admin and mods on this site never fail to WOW me. You are all volunteers and yet you work so darn hard at listening to this community, responding...and always being the voice of reason.
YOU ALL ROCK...okay...I know I shouldn't be shouting...but your efforts need to be celebrated
Thanks
p.s. C-Moss just told me she is really happy there's not a pet forum and says Nick should get a special belly rub just for that

I sincerely appreciate the effort, and patience that the mods have shown. Signed, a master training for speedy trail races. Really.

So all you sinners come out
And all you drunkards crawl out
Come into the light of one fine day

Looks great Nick. Although there seems to be a generalization that only "older" runners are crabby!

I'm lovin' it! And I suspect Jo-Jo will be honoured to be one of the first crabby posters in the Masters forum.
You got that right...I'm already composing in my mind this inaugaral post

I like the new format a lot.
I was actually going to suggest a "Masters" section. One thing though-- I REALLY don't like the sub-heading. Please please please don't use that. I do have a sense of humour, but still.... within our nice lilttle Runningmania community as it is now, it's funny, but it's unlikely to get any real attention with a sub-heading like that.
p.s. Jenn- masters are generally 40 and over, although sometimes for women it's 35 and over for some reason.
