Don't use 5.0 yet, not supported by Rogers and likely the app.

I was reading on the support forum that they are having problems with the way blackberries store cookies, and they are having problems getting RIM to give them the info they need to make it work right. I think that's the hangup, but I'm not 100% certain of that.

I have the same problem as Lazagna. My Curve is using the 5.0 o/s, so that might be the problem. I've even gone into the app and changed permissions around and still not working.

I'm replying from my BB Curve 8330 right now. Seems to work fine.

Weird! It posted, but the message I got on my BB was that I had to log in! I am posting from my computer right now.

I'm with Bell, so it might be that too.

I'm getting a "permission deny" message when trying to open a thread from a "member's only" forum (e.g., NRR), even though it says "La @ RunningMania" at the top of my screen (so it appears that I AM logged in).

yeah... like I said, it's unpredictably recognizing/not recognizing your log-in.

RunningMania? There's an App for that

App is working nice on the iPhone. Great work admins/ mods/ testers

Just noticed that when I clicked a link (within AFR's thread) to an RM topic it launched the forum in Safari rather than staying within the app. Anyone else notice this?

That's the same thing I was getting. The top of the screen had Trail Child @ RunningMania, but if I tried to post, it told me I wasn't logged in and I still can't access or have the option to access the membership section.

The other thing that's happening is that I only see who the last poster was, not who the OP was.

Actually, sometimes I see the 2nd last poster but with the last posters post! Then when you click on it, the thread is correct.

Also, the last row of the post can't be read...

I'm downloading the free version now. I didn't see an option for the paid version. I wonder if it's not under a different name?

I'll report back once I've tried it out.

I think its just the iPhone version that's pay (because Apple is set up to charge for apps). I don't know **** about Android apps and whether you can even charge for one.

Toobusy - which version is kicking you out?

I can't get anywhere with the app. It took me two tries to download it, and I haven't yet been able to get it to load anything. So far, it's a bust.

The Android Market does offer paid apps, but this one only offered the free version to me. The reviews of the free one reference a paid app. I'm only running Android 1.5 so the paid app may be for the newer operating systems.

I'm definitely liking the iPhone version and will probably plunk down the $2.99 so that I can post and reply. Now I'm back in safari- not as nice.

Are you exiting the forum by going too far back using the button on the top left?

In any event, there should be a button at the bottom of the first page called 'accounts' which if you click on should get you into the forum without logging in

Nope, I've noticed it happening when the app is trying to load a page; the whole app shuts down and the phone returns to the home screen

Third install worked on my Android. I think I prefer the browser. Seeing the different categories show up in alphabetical order is a bit odd. Seeing a short caption of the first post in each thread is also odd. I much prefer seeing who last posted in the thread, and I also like knowing if a thread has new posts or not. I'll need to play around a bit and see if I can't change those settings somehow.

I found the setting for the stickies, and noticed that the one in NRR about the Christmas tunes in still a sticky. Not sure why I never noticed that when I'm viewing the forum on my computer screen.
