The course is rolling, a mix of single and double track in a forest. 10 k loops, well marked.
The mix includes grass, hard pack dirt, gravel, no rocky sections to speak of, but quite a few stumps and roots. No monster hills, just one longer slope, the rest is constantly rolling.

Noobie question: Anyone know if I need to bring much of my own food to eat overnight on the 24hr? Someone told me that the overnight hours won't have too much food and to make sure I bring my own. I know at Sulpher (50 miler) I brought way too much of my own food which wasn't needed at all as the stations were stacked! Anyone who's done it before know what's served overnight and whether I need to worry about this? I assume there'll be lots of soup, hopefully potatoes....
