Where are the long trail races in Winnipeg?

Where are the long trail races in Winnipeg?

We are new to Winnipeg and are wondering if there are any longer (25K plus) trail races in the area? Anyone know of any?

The Lemming Loop is a timed race (3, 6 or 12 hours vice a set distance)

The longest run in the try-a-trail series is 22km. Long enough for ya?

There's a rumour of a trail marathon coming this spring. It still needs to get fleshed out though.

There was a one-day adventure race today (Swamp Donkey) if you also like to paddle and bike (and orienteer).

Mostly, we head to Minnesota & Wisconsin for any long trail races.

Kettle Moraine 100
Western States 100 crewing

Lemming Loop is your best bet next weekend at Beaudry Park.

And there IS a trail marathon coming next fall. Just in the planning stages but it will be happening. Stay tuned!
